Hi, I'm John Nielson. Born in Montreal. Grew up in Toronto. Now living in Maplewood, Minnesota. I have three daughters. A Boston Terrier named Lucky. I drive a black Jeep. I love hockey. And I love to write.

Frankly, it's taken me long time to share the stories rattling around in my head for decades. That's why I'm passionate about writing stories that inspire young readers to find and express their own voices.
